The battery from your house alarm. Batteries used in golf carts and electric cars. Industrial stationary batteries you used to start your diesel motor. You know these batteries contain materials that can harm the environment and so shouldn’t be thrown out in the trash or left in the dump. So you let them pile up.

Fortunately, with Orange Drop you can unwaste your space. Now you can return these batteries to your local Municipal Recycling Facility or collection event.

What's included?

Industrial Stationary Batteries

Orange Drop covers all stationary battery chemistries (nickel cadmium, lithium ion, and lead acid) weighing more than 5 kg.

These are typically used in industrial applications to provide standby power when the main power is interrupted, e.g., telecommunications, emergency lighting, switchgear and control operation and uninterruptiple power systems.

Non-Lead Acid Motive Batteries

Non-lead acid motive batteries are used to propel electric vehicles, like forklifts, electric golf carts, mining vehicles, wheelchairs,  and accessories, e.g., headlights, lighting, and heating for other motive applications, such as in the aircraft, marine and rail industries. All battery chemistries (lithium ion, lithium phosphate, nickel cadmium, and nickel-metal hydride) are covered (with the exception of lead-acid batteries used in vehicles).
