You’ve been meaning to get rid of that half-filled container of antifreeze for years but weren’t sure what to do with it. Don’t pour it out! If you can’t use it up, or donate it to a friend, high school auto shop or mechanic, then Make the Drop!

Now you can return these materials to your Municipal Recycling Facility or a collection event and even to some local automotive service centres or garages.

What's included?
All antifreeze and its containers, including ethylene glycol and propylene glycol used or intended for use as a vehicle engine coolant, or for HVAC systems, is covered by Orange Drop.

This includes packaged antifreeze (i.e., any antifreeze supplied in containers of 30 litres or less) and bulk antifreeze (i.e., any supplied antifreeze packaged or supplied in containers greater than 30 litres.

Antifreeze keeps the water in our car and truck engines from boiling over on hot days and freezing on very cold days. It also protects our engines from corrosion. But like all Orange Drop products, antifreeze requires special care. Handle antifreeze in an area that’s well ventilated, clean up spills with absorbent material and be sure to store away from heat, children and pets.  And remember – leftover antifreeze isn’t waste: it can be recycled into good-as-new antifreeze. Empty antifreeze containers can also be recycled.

It's time to Make the Drop – Orange Drop!
